I was never Cathy's big clown, Even though I usually do frown. I won't sit on the dock of the bay, I couldn't afford the price anyway. I won't laugh until I should die. Maybe instead I will just cry. It's not really that funny to me, Nor for you once you can see. We are on the eve of destruction. Remember we had that implicit
instruction. Back in the sixties that was the
gloom. Forty years later we have that same
doom. Is that so bad or is it okay? We can only change each new today. Yesterday's gone too late to amend. Tomorrow's the future on which we
depend. What should we do? Where shall we
turn? Where is the answer? Have we not
learned? Man has tried to govern the throng, But each new government does it all
wrong. Two world wars later,it's still the
same. The good are all faultless, the bad are to
blame. Pointing fingers don' t change a thing, Another conflict is all that will bring.
The League of Nations United or not, Have done the same and that's not a
lot. Those wars started with pre and post
pacts, Each time peace never to be tracked. Take a look at what I have said. Man has tried too many are dead. Is there someone who know's what to
do? Can you tell me do you know who? Man can do nothing except make a mess. Where can we go? Do you have a guess? How about our God,who created us all? Give Him your faith, He won't let you
fall. I don't think that's so out of line. After all this life's not so fine. Believe in God and Jesus His Son. Eternal life is what He has won. So listen close, turn your deaf ear. Listen to these things that you should
hear. Scoff if you want but God is your
friend. On Him you can count in this time of the
end. How many men will there be too? Too many to count or just a few? Only God who knows all too well, How large the numbers and how they may
swell.
