Previously I had no strong will to
live,
Because I thought I had nothing to
give.
Then I found a new reason why,
I'll try to live instead and not die.
I look at you and see how you ache.
Just like me you've had all you can
take.
I wish I could promise this was the
end,
And that our hearts will start to
mend.
Don't make a promise that you can't
keep,
Because if it's broken the pain is too
deep.
That was always my unbreakable law,
And certainly a lesson on which you can
draw.
So to you I can only say this.
Listen so there'll be nothing you'll
miss.
I can not promise I'll live longer than
you,
And since I'm older probably probably not
true.
Remember that you are just like my
twin,
Not just in looks but with that sly
grin.
Remember I'll try to always be there
To give you my love and show that I
care.
